After I did crochet, I guess I was so confident to move on to knitting.
I thought it would be similar but it was actually very different.
I bought the vest pattern from Lôkal Oslo. It is called " The kitty vest".
You can buy this in ENG.
I used my leftover scraps.
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK 100g
Ball Weight 100g
Length 280 metres
Blend 100% Acrylic
Tension 22 stitches and 28 rows for a 10x10cm tension square using 4mm needles
---------------
I made a S size and used less than one ball each for the shoulder & the waist band.
and one and half for the body using 6mm needles.
This is easy to make once you figure it out. but the instruction will be a bit too simple to understand if you are a knitting beginner like me.
I had hard time to understand not only the ENG , but also the knitting symbols and so on.
I don't recommend this pattern for beginners if you need a perfect instruction details.
But somehow I figured it out and finished it before the spring is gone.
I shortened the length to make it a crop vest but it ended up a bit too short for me after attaching the shoulder ribs.
I would make it again with fall/winter colors and probably a little longer than this.
This vest is so cute and lovely. just perfect for england's spring.
for more details/ I have made my knitting Vlog. please check it out. Thanks.
