DIY cotton frill bag (how to use leftover fabrics)

Hi guys welcome back to my Blog!

Today, I am going to make this cute frill tote cotton bag.

This is easy and fun to make !

and it is an everyday companion with a touch of romantic frills.

It is fully lined and has a drawstring to close the opening.

I will share the pattern and sewing process on my youtube as well. please check it out if you need more details.

I will add the drawstrings. one string for this way.

you can use a safety pin or this tool pin the end and put it into the casing. other one will go the other way around.

There are a lot of tips to make a knife pleat ruffle.

But For my porject! This is not too long and I am not serious about my bag frill so I will roughly fold it and

straight stitch across the pleats.

But if you would like to do it in a more formal way, you might want to measure out the inches and pin them to make it even.

so the bag is ready to go out with me.

This is really soft fabric and there was a few scraps left over .

I have made a top and skirt with the fabric before.

If you have not seen this video, please check it out.

because the top is super cute to make as well!

Anyway I am so happy to use these fabrics and excited to bring it out.

Please check out the below vid for more sewing details.

And Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

See you next time! happy sewing to all
