Reversible tote cotton bag

today, I am going to make a reversible cotton bag.

This is really easy to make and easy for sewing beginners.

and This is a good chance to use up a few extra scraps left over from a project.

I wear this bag both sides depend on my fashion mood.

I have made it smaller than general cotton bag size since I wanted to have a mini size only for my phone and some lipsticks.

you can make it bigger or smaller, it is all your design.

I have cut the fabric here. Here are 4 pieces of fabric after being cut. I am gonna refer to them as set A and set B. the small pocket is optional. so if you don't need it, you can skip it or if you want more pockets then add more! it always depends on your design.

Regarding the pocket, To stabilize the pocket opening, apply interfacing to the wrong side of the upper raw edge of the Pocket.

I will place the shoulder straps. find the center of the bag. and mark the strap placement accordingly . I will sew the one of Set A to the one of Set B together

and then put the bag right side together,

I am getting the strap in order not to sew together.

sew around the edges.

I will leave a gap here so i can flip it over later.

I have used 2 different threads since the fabric colors are quite different.

Again, This is really easy to make and easy for sewing beginners.

I will share the pattern size and the sewing process in the below vid.

please check it out if you are interested,

Thank you for reading it today.

Happy sewing to all.
