DIY - Hairband / Hair bandana

I love headbands. They tidy up my hair and are stylish. But whenever i try on a bandana, my scarf keeps slipping off.

So i decided to make this into a proper headband.

this is a super duper easy and quick sewing project. This would be a perfect tutorial to start with if you’re new to sewing.

I have created a pattern like this.

Fold it into a triangle. cut it out

Here, all the materials are ready to sew.

First, I will stitch the side seam.

i will place the elastic panel on the tie like this. as you can see, the stitched side is showing up for the elastic.

I will fold like this and fold it over and stitch all together here.

and turn this over.

Tie it on beautifully and it is ready to go.

Now I can keep my head scarve up for a long time.
