Hi guys
This time, I made a wall hanging with my fabric scraps.

I can put some dry flowers in there.
This is super easy to make.

I always trying to think new ways to use all my fabric scraps and i found the below from urban outfitters.

The wall Tapestry is typically made with paint or a print which gave me the idea that i can do appliqué flowers instead.

I designed and made sure the size & the layout are ok.

and decided on the fabric & the thread colors, then cut them out.

Set up my sewing machine for zigzag stitches. I tested the stitch length / width before working on the actual fabric.

First, I assembled the flowers.
then Added the vase.

Zigzag stitched around the Vase.

Then i only needed to finish the edges.

And i picked up the wood stick from my garden when we trimmed our trees.
i washed and dried it before using it.

Once everything was ready,
I went out to buy some dry flowers

I bought some dry flowers and some fresh ones.

I hung them upside down to dry.

It is better to dry them under shade to keep the colors.

Once it is ready, I just hang it up!

The Vase Tapestry adds texture to a wall and warmth to a home.

This is a fun way to use up my fabric scraps.

You can finish the applique by hand or quilting / print / paint /stamp or embroidery the flowers. There are so many fun ideas that you can try and make your own.
I made a very short my sewing journey.
Please check it out for more details if i missed anything in the blog.
