I made this lovely blouse. This cotton fabric is so easy to sew and use, perfect for the sewing beginner.
The fit and design - everything - is perfect and it came out just how i imagined.
But it is non-stretched woven so it was a bit difficult to take on and off. I would add a zipper at the side if I used the woven fabric again for this pattern.
I love the ruffle at the front and the sexy open back. It could be a classic V neck blouse but, because of the back detail, it is so unique.
I would love to make a cape dress next time with a jersey fabric. The design will be just excellent for a christmas party or so on.
➡️What fabric did you use?
It is 100% cotton 58" width and non stretch woven. I used 2 m
eters since the print is one-way.
It is very light weight and soft. This will be perfect for quilting and children's wear but I am going to use it for myself. 😁
I really like the prints. There are small Cactus, flowers, bouquet, a mint apron and the pink rain boots. This reminds me of summer time in England and having an afternoon tea in my garden with my friends.
This pdf pattern has 5 different designs. I can make a top or a dress with different lengths and different shoulder designs.
Pattern from
➡️What size did you make?
I am 5ft and S size. I used size 34.
➡️What adjustments did you make and how long did they take?
This pattern is from Chut Charlotte. WonderWoman.
I made a sexy ruffled neckline with the open back version. no adjustment on the pattern. and It took a full day to figure out how to assemble the back opening part and the ruffle.
➡️What was the construction process like?
➡️Did the instructions make sense to you?
It looked easy before I started but I was quite challenged by the small details.
The instruction is very detailed and clear but i had to read a couple of times to understand how to finish the neck with all the different options.
