This time, I made a skirt for my friend. It is always challenging to make a clothes for someone else but I believe that it helps me improve my sewing skill.
I made a summer dress with the same fabric if you remember.

I used an Ojayroom pattern for the dress. It is called a 'Vera Blossom Dress'.
and I hacked the pattern to make this slit skirt.
I used the skirt bottom part as is but I had to create the waist band.
It has a hidden zipper at the back center and I tried hard to match the prints.
Could you tell ? 😏 It has no lining and I used a polyester fabric I got from a local market in South Korea.
You can wear it out with a crop top in a total summer vibe kind of way or you can wear it with a feminine shirt for different occasions.
You can make this in different lengths and reduce the slit length if you don't want to show your leg too much.
This skirt can go with flat shoes or sneakers like how she just wore in the pic.
This was a fun sewing journey to make a skirt for my friend.
I might hack the dress pattern more for something else. 😎
